FRAWT (Feldon Residents Against Wind Turbines)

TAKE THE RENEWABLE ENERGY CHALLENGE!!

In the shadow of the beautiful Burton Dassett Country Park
the “Met Mast” has now been erected

Please support us – we need your help to save our beautiful Feldon vale.  An application for the turbines will be made in due course. WE ARE NOT ALONE…  The Feldon Vale is under attack and the possibility of 40 turbines within site of Burton Dassett is now a real possibility.  Four applications are soon to be submitted.  The other 3 sites are:  Wormleighton, Shuckburgh and Shotteswell. We need your help

The views of the majority of the local residents has been totally ignored and the Met Mast as now be installed.  We all know what this means.

What happens next?

We will be contacting as many people as possible to ensure that we can fight the battle of the turbines with strong support from the local communities.

UNDER THREAT!

The publicly owned Burton Dassett Country Park is facing a massive impact on the quality of its unrivalled views

Below is a photo-montage of the turbines as seen from Burton Dassett Country Park.
This is as accurate as possible from the information available.

Burton Dassett Country Park is a real jewel in the South Warwickshire Crown (BBC)

“Unspoilt, rolling hills – the magnificent views from these hills are breathtaking”.(Warwickshire County Council)

The vast majority of the local residents do not want this mast (or the subsequent turbine application), the parish councils do not want it, the district council do not want it, the county council does not want it and the Planning Inspectorate agrees with us all that this is not appropriate at this location.  How many more people have to say NO before the developer takes note?
